Fnac (French pronunciation: ​[fnak]) is a large French retail chain selling cultural and electronic products, founded by André Essel and Max Théret in 1954. Its head office is in Le Flavia in Ivry-sur-Seine near Paris. Fnac is an abbreviation of Fédération Nationale d’Achats des Cadres ("National Purchasing Federation for Cadres").

Stefano mentioned, "I ordered three items from Fnac: one was damaged (the shipping box was safe, so they sent me a previously damaged item) and one was completely wrong. I wrote to "Customer Service", they treated me ridiculously and didn't solve anything. They also didn't accept returns outside France and they offered me a voucher of one third of the value of my purchase. I will never buy from these thieves again."

"Empezando porque es una empresa que tiene alrededor de 11 becarios en las oficinas centrales. El trato no es el más deseado aunque eso dependerá del departamento, en general no hay ambiente de equipo sino de continua lucha entre departamentos y personas, el trato a los becarios deja mucho que desear ya que parecen meros instrumentos para sacar trabajo de una forma barata o muy barata ya que la formación que reciben es mínima, los becarios les dan un pase donde no pone ni el nombre de la empresa, no tienen ningún tipo de vacaciones da igual los meses que estés, ni siquiera te avisan cuando llevan fruta cosa que comunican a toda la empresa. Es un sistema muy de jerarquía en el cual si no estás arriba no eres nadie y mucho menos si estas en la parte mas baja que ahí ni contemos. Con decir que a las 2 semanas de entrar una chica acabo llorando por el trato. Falta de gestión de equipos como activo humano mas allá de meros medios para conseguir unos objetivos a base de presión. únicamente se saca el trabajo diario sin inversión ni miras de futuro, por no decir del material con el que se trabaja mas propio de empresas de hace 10 años. La lastima es que hay grandes personas en ese equipo con grandes potenciales que pueden hacer grandes cosas pero que están limitadas por el trato y por el nivel de jerarquía. Si me dieran la opción de volver, no volvería desde luego. hay muchas cosas pero creo que resumo la mayoría, aunque me olvido de lo que llaman picos altos de trabajo que no contare y que descubriréis los que empecéis a trabajar en sus oficinas.Hay algunas personas geniales, humanas y profesionales que saben trabajar en equipo y que realmente da gusto trabajar con ellasel resto de personas que únicamente buscan sus méritos personales mas allá de hacer las cosas bien, además del trato a ciertas personas entre ellas a los becarios"

"Fnac illa. Deja mucho que desear. Estuve de campaña de Navidad para cofres y no había control ninguno de nada, trabajadores incompetentes, no te daban explicaciones de nada, te ponían como un monigote en una esquina que ni se ve, y encima se quejan. (Muy lamentable el orden y el control de stock de cofres) Experiencia muy mala. Un mal lugar para trabajar. Descansos muy cortos (No te da tiempo ni de bajar a comer algo)."

"O processo de seleção para trabalhar na sede é tudo menos isento. A escolha não se faz pela experiência nem pelo grau de formação académico nem pela qualidade do trabalho demonstrado durante anos em loja. O critério são as amizades e sabe-se lá o quê. A consequência é termos pessoas arrogantes e sem conhecimentos a gerir produto. Depois somos penalizados nos prémios anuais (ou mensais no caso dos vendedores) porque as vendas são fracas. Como se a culpa fosse de quem dá a cara e é obrigado a levar com o que a sede impõe. Por outro lado as formações quando acontecem são inadaptadas e muitas vezes dadas por gente que não sabe o que está a fazer."

"Travail agréable si tant est que l'on ait des collaborateurs sympas et un personnel encadrant compétent. Chose qui est loin d'être le cas. Salaire très médiocre Heureusement quelques primes permettent de gonfler un peu les mois difficiles. Seul vrai point fort, 5 semaines de congés + 2 semaines et demi de RTT. Évolution interne impossible dès lors que vous avez trop de sens critique et n'allez pas dans le sens des encadrant. Mise au placard et augmentation d'échelon une fois tous les 5 ans (25€ brut) et encore, en étant ultra corporate. Travail en effectif ultra tendu, sous prétexte de ne pas avoir de budget pour embauche. Résultat vous faites à vous seul le travail de 2 ou 3 personnes. Peu d'entraide interservices, les vendeurs sont les rois, et les autres n'ont qu'à obéir et se taire.Congés payés et RTT, primesTout le reste"

"The worst consumer experience at the Lille store. I bought a webcam which did not work properly. In less than 24 hours since I bought it I went to return it. First, they did not want to give me a refund, but a voucher. When they actually agreed to give me the refund, they charge a penalty of 10%. Even the voucher was going to have that penalty. This procedure is totally ilegal. The regulator must do its job and supervise fnac ilegal policies."

"Really absolutely the worst customer service at the Lausanne Store. I bought two laptops: One I picked up immediately the second arrived apparently within 10 days but I had to phone multiple times just to see of the unit arrived. The ASUS ordered was not a tuck screen but a touch pad and this explicitly what I requested a with the sales staff. After 20 days I brought back to Laptop in Original packing with factory settings. I confronted the sales person at first he denied he serviced me and once I produced all documents he said I sold me exactly what I wanted. After getting the manager involved he simply said look it is your problem if you do not return the product within the 14 days. I said no problem I will buy a new laptop right now. No chance. So do not trust the sales person what he sells you and really check and shop before hand. Getting any sales and consultation is useless. What is really sad is that Management stood beyond their staff and declared me a liar and distorting the facts and they simply do not stand behind their mistake."

"Do not trust them. ( France store ), their site crashes constantly and therefore impossible to respond and the goods didnt arrive. I dont believe they really existed in the first place. Ordered a pc case ( ocassion)_, price seemed too good to be true €15 inc postage. Order was then passed to a company ( Momox ) in Germany, who were very hard to contact and totally unhelpful when it took ages to be sent. Had no idea it wasnt coming from a store in France. When it finally arrived, it wasnt a pc case it was a tiny book of German words. Somehow managed to get their site to work one time to complain and got asked to send the book to Germany at my cost, fees to possibly be reimbursed. I think its a scam, and nothing ive read makes me less convinced. avoid !"

"If I could I would give 0 stars.. I've ordered an Quest 2 on 29th October 2020 because it isn't available in Germany. Now it is the 15th December 2020 and still no sign of either a refund or my package. According to fnac the package is lost at chronopost and according to chronopost it is ready ro be picked up at fnac. And I'm in the middle of this shitshow. I contacted customer support so many times now .. you wouldn't believe it. It took nearly two weeks to just get someone open a complaint and I was told that this will be resolved within another 10-15 days. Since then I am just told that there is no new information and that my case is renewed, resend and god knows what else. And it seems that this was a lie as well. Today I received an email which said following: "We ask you to renew your request on the fnac.com website or by telephone on 08 92 35 04 05. Regarding the ticketing service, we are unable to provide you with any information regarding your request." Meaning all those people before did literally nothing. And also there is no way to open a complaint by myself on the website! So I clearly WARN all of you! Do not order there! Never!"

"Awful and lying customer service. They told me the delivery address had been changed when it wasn't, so I received the product at the wrong address. Unacceptable. Having an unresponsive website that does not allow easy delivery modifications is one thing (already quite bad), but having people on the phone telling you they solved your problem when they actually did not is another (borderline fraudulent)."

They instead sent a copy of the game to a wrong address, and now I have to wait a few weeks for a "postal investigation" to know what will happen of my money? "My Fnac experince was horrible. I bought two products from Fnac two weeks ago. They still didn't confirm that they would send the products. I called their service support number. I have the email with the order and a link to download but I have tried many things and the book is not visible in the app. It is impossible to get help I can't even figure out how to get rembourse. "Each time I have dealt with FNAC, the experience is worse than the prior. Look for an apple mouse and FNAC APPEARS to have it, but no, it's some seller from China. The highlighted Black Friday special isn't AT FNAC...but at another company with whom they have a sale arrangement. I have never, NOT ONCE, gone to FNAC and had them have what I needed, what they had on their website or actually was selling in the store for the price I saw."
